Blood Donations for Toni Funari

Toni Funari, the daughter of Patricia Funari, one of our church members, has acute leukemia and must receive a complete blood transfusion every 8 weeks.  Our church members are being asked to help by 1) giving prayer support, and 2) donating blood.  Donations may be made at the Lifesouth Blood Centers in Decatur:

Tornado Relief Effort

We are getting together a team of people from Decatur Baptist to assist in the tornado relief effort. We will meet at the church this Saturday, February 23rd, at 7:40 AM. We will leave the church at 8:00 AM. We will plan on helping with the effort until 2:00 PM.If you are planning to attend, please call or e-mail Bradley Roden. His number is 303-1007 and his e-mail is bradrsi@rodenimports.com. It is important that you contact him so we can register in advance, and they will know where to position us for the most effective help. Also, a DBC name badge will be made for the ones that contact me before Saturday. If you need to leave before 2:00 PM, you can follow the Church van. You will find a list of items that we need to bring below. Please mark or label your tools so you can locate them and identify them when we get ready to leave. Also, if you have a Decatur Baptist shirt, please wear it.

D-Now 2008

Epoch has been invited to get involved with D-Now Feb. 1-3.  This is a great opportunity to support our Student Ministry at DBC.  The praise/worship Fri/Sat Night and Sunday Morning will be led by Billy and Cindy Foote.  Friday Night and Saturday Night services will begin at 6:30 p.m, Sunday Morning begins at regular time (9:30 a.m.)

We will not be having Epoch service this Sunday, Dec 16th. You can ,however, join us in the worship service in the sanctuary at 9:30 as the DBC choir presents Heaven's Light. Bring a friend or neighbor with you. Don't worry though, before the jitters can set in from Epoch withdrawal, we will be back in the Axis next week for our regular service at 11:15.
